French Open Day 5 - Women's draw

Yesterday I happened to catch the Kim Clijsters match against Arantxa Rus.  Everyone including me was like the No.2 seed Clijsters has got this.  Turns out she loses to 114th ranked Rus 3-6, 7-5, 6-1.  Kim had two match points in the second set but failed to finish.

Anyway the match that really caught my eye was Maria Sharapova vs Caroline Garcia.  Garcia is only 17 and she won the first set and was up 4-1 in the second set and then all of a sudden the wheels fell off.  She lost her 11 games to lose 3-6,6-4, 6-0.  Even the great Andy Murray dubbed Caroline Garcia as being the next No.1 in the world on his Twitter account: "Girl sharapova is playing is going to be No.1 in world one day caroline garcia, what a player u heard it here 1st," the fourth-seeded Murray tweeted.  I'm sure after that he might of wished he didn't tweet it but hey Caroline shows lots of promise and its still possible that one day she could be a number 1.
